The Caccia & Fugue in C was composed for advanced pianists playing either 4-Hand or 2-Piano repertoire. The works are both whimsial and intricately worked out. In the Caccia, thematic material 'chases' itself at various intervals and meters. In the fugue, an upright bass jazz subject collides with a traditional baroque subject, and they spend the entire piece working it out. This is an excellent set for a full 4-Hand or 2-Piano recital, or as encores.
